My Work Approaches

Drawing from the two wells of wisdom and experiences, I integrate cognitive, behavioral, and emotional theories in psychology with a focus on the spiritual intelligence: the transcendent meaning, purpose, and values of human lives in Christ to help you develop better self-awareness, embrace compassion and empathy, and understand the root causes of any emotional or spiritual brokenness.

I naturally spot the “gold” in people wherever I go because I believe that everyone is made in the image of God, and everyone was uniquely created to display an aspect of God’s nature.
Being an encourager brings such joy and fulfillment to me. “There’s always another way” is a motto of my life. Because with God, nothing is too hard. As you pursue to become healthier emotionally and spiritually, you are pursuing to be more Christ-like. No matter how challenging the journey seems to be, I’ll be here to encourage and remind you of the HOPE that’s in Him.

Everyone could use a listening ear, especially in the hardest moments in life. Compassion shouldn’t come with conditions or judgement, and I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space for you.
In additional of caring and tending to your needs, I also place a high value on leaning into the voice of God for our time together. “For His Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.“ 1 Corinthians 2:10 (NLT) The Holy Spirit knows your heart and your deepest desires better than anyone.
Grounded in compassion and guided by prophetic insights, I believe I can help you unlock a path towards breakthrough and transformation.

“If it’s not practical, then it’s probably useless.“ I once heard someone made such a comment, and I agree with it to a certain degree. Often times, counseling and coaching can sound like a “talking“ business without lasting effects. It seems to make people feel better in the moment but once they return to real life, there are hardly any tangible changes.
My goal as I work with clients is “to be fired” asap. Keeping you in my work is probably not a sign of success for me. I love the practicals because they carry the power to cause changes and can be applied to life outside our sessions.
In our time together, other than listening and creating space for you, I’ll also ask hard questions, brainstorm creative solutions, and empower you to build practical steps to not only receive healing and breakthrough, but also create sustainable changes.

No, I do not offer clinical therapy sessions that include psychological assessment or a clinical diagnoses.
However, I will bring practical counseling theories and approaches along with Biblical and spiritual insights into our work together.

A standard 55-min session is $180 for individual, and $240 for couple/family.
